Tastings are done on a "to-go" basis only, either to be picked up or to be shipped to you. If you'd like to pickup your tasting, please select "local pickup" from the shipping drop down box at checkout. My address for pickup is 2270 McBrayer Court Cumming, GA 30028
Select one of the three options at checkout:
"All Inclusive Tasting"
is for those who have booked the all inclusive package through your venue where Cake Envy is the cake provider. You get one complimentary tasting with your package. You're welcome to order additional paid tastings if you'd like. (your booking is guaranteed and no retainer is necessary)
"Complimentary Tasting"
is for those who have already paid your retainer and booked Cake Envy for your date. You get one complimentary tasting with your booking. You're welcome to order additional paid tastings if you'd like.
"Paid tasting prior to booking"
If you've chosen to do the tasting prior to booking, select the paid tasting option. It is $50. You're welcome to order additional paid tastings if you'd like. You may also select the paid tasting if you're ordering your wedding cake from the online web shop. Web Shop orders do not qualify for a complimentary cake tasting.
NOTE: There is no "complimentary tasting" if you choose to book later and the tasting fee is not credited toward your cake cost.
Purchasing a tasting is not a guarantee of service for your wedding. It is possible your date may become booked. The only way to guarantee you are booked is to return the contract and the pay the $250 retainer.

Cake tastings serve 2 people. Tastings include 6 pre-selected cake flavors, in one of 3 monthly collections. Only one selection is available per month. Select the tasting you'd like and we will get it packaged for pickup or shipped to you, generally during the first week of each month. You are welcome to order each one if you'd like (almost like a cake of the month club!) NO SUBSTITUTIONS.

"Berry Bliss" - White Chocolate Raspberry, Lemon Strawberry, Strawberries & Cream, Strawberries & Champagne, Blueberry Lemon, Raspberry Lemon.
"Traditional Wedding" includes: The Classic, White Wedding, White Almond Sour Cream, White Chocolate Raspberry, Raspberry Lemon, and Peaches & Cream.

There are hundreds of additional combinations of cake/filling combos that could be chosen for your wedding, and you're not limited to what is in the tasting, or what is on my menu of flavors, but it's impossible to provide one of everything. These flavor collections are a sampling of what is available, but is not an exclusive selection. If you have a special request for something other than what is on my menu, I'm happy to try to accommodate you for your wedding cake, but I cannot make tasting samples for special flavor requests that are not on the menu. (For example: If you'd like the coffee mousse and toffee crumbles inside a vanilla cake, you're welcome to order that for your wedding, but I cannot make a single tasting sample of that flavor combo)
Cake Tasting
UPS Ground will arrive next day to most locations in Georgia.
UPS Ground will arrive in 2 days to most locations in the states surrounding Georgia.
My insulation and packaging is good for up to 48 hours, so if your package won't arrive via ground in 2 days or less, I HIGHLY recommend you select overnight shipping. It is expensive, so you may want to schedule your tasting for sometime when you will be in town doing wedding business.
To avoid the possibility of your perishable product sitting on a hot truck or in a warehouse over the weekend, I only ship on Monday's at the end of the day. If you select to have your tasting shipped, your tasting will be sent the Monday following your order, unless you specify a specific Monday you'd like me to ship on.
In almost all cases, your tasting will arrive on Tuesday. Please choose a shipping address where someone will be available to get the shipment right away. Do not let it be shipped anywhere that it will sit outside (especially during hot months) for hours until you get home to get it.
If the weather is too hot, at my discression, I may delay shipping your tasting. If I choose not to ship on your requested date, I will email you to let you know that your shipment did not go out as requested on your order.
I will email you a UPS tracking number after it ships.
